APS Certificate, a compulsory requirement for Indian students to study in Germany

In Germany, Indian students are now required to submit an APS certificate along with their visa application. They will be assessed and the certificate will be provided by the Academic Evaluation Centre.

From November 1, 2022, APS certificates are going to be a compulsory requirement according to German missions in India. Applications for APS assessment will be open from October 1, 2022.

The application process for the APS certificate

The following are the steps to complete the process of applying for APS:

·         Register online to download the form. Fill out the form and sign it.

·         The APS fee is INR. 18,000 which is to be transferred to the bank account of APS.

·      Submit the requirements along with the filled-out APS form and send it through courier or at the   APS India desk.

·         The APS will verify the requirements and will process only complete applications.

·         Applicants' online profiles will be updated once they have been verified.

·         Successful candidates can apply for a German student visa through VFS.

·         Duly filled and signed application form along with a passport-size photo

·         APS fee transfer receipt copy

·         aadhar card with linked mobile number copy

·         Passport copy

·         Mark sheets and degree certificates copy

·         Language certificate copy German or English

 Processing time of the APS certificate application

      It takes two weeks to process an APS certificate application.
